As your child moves through high school, college admissions get real — and so does the SAT. The right prep is not another packed boot camp. It is a plan that fits their current score, their calendar, and the question types they actually miss.
MindzQ Education has prepared Bergen County students for the SAT for more than 10 years from our Fair Lawn center. You get a diagnostic, a score-range class, and tutors who stay through test day.
College Board no longer offers the paper SAT. The test is digital and adaptive: the questions your child sees match their skill level. Prep has to work the same way — targeted practice at the right difficulty, not extra hours on random worksheets.

After a free consultation, students complete a diagnostic to map strengths and weaknesses.
We turn every exam concept into a memorable lesson and teach strategies you will not find in a generic boot camp.
A personalized program targets the question types your child misses most, at a pace that fits how they learn.
We track practice-exam progress and simulate test-day conditions until they are ready for their target score.
We do not put a 1080 and a 1480 in the same room. Classes are grouped so your child gets practice at the right difficulty — and a realistic picture of how many points they can still gain.
Core concepts first, then SAT-specific practice at their skill level. Families in this band typically see a 100–300 point improvement in the suggested period.
Best if basics still wobble under timed conditions.
Academically inclined students refine concepts, apply timing strategy, and do a serious volume of practice. Expected gain is about 100–300 points, with a heavier workload to keep the score sticky.
Best if they know the content but leak points to timing and traps.
Gains here take more time and precision. Targeted items and time-based strategy can add 50–150 points — often the difference on a competitive college list.
Best if they are already strong and need surgical practice.

The paper SAT is gone. Students take the test on a laptop or tablet in College Board’s Bluebook app — about 2 hours and 14 minutes, two Reading and Writing modules and two Math modules, shorter passages with a single question each, a built-in Desmos graphing calculator on all of Math, and the same 400–1600 score scale.
It is also section-adaptive. How your child performs on Module 1 decides whether Module 2 serves the easier or the harder set of questions, and only the harder set puts the top of the scale within reach. Early accuracy under time pressure matters more than raw volume. Read how we teach the Digital SAT.
